At Manaha Clinic | Mind & Neuro Center, assessments follow a structured, ethical, and evidence-based approach, designed to support a wide range of needs — from early understanding and screening to formal clinical evaluation, diagnostic clarity, and treatment planning.

We offer curated free self-help screening tools through trusted external platforms for personal awareness, alongside clinician-led assessments conducted by licensed psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and neurologists. Our multidisciplinary approach helps individuals and families move from uncertainty to informed, appropriate care—without over-testing or unnecessary interventions.
Clinical Assessments
Clinical assessments at Manaha Clinic are structured, clinician-led evaluations designed to support a wide range of needs—diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, second opinions, academic or workplace documentation, and longitudinal care.
All assessments are conducted using standardised, evidence-based instruments aligned with internationally recognised clinical frameworks (DSM-5 / ICD-10) and Indian medical practice guidelines. Evaluations are carried out by licensed psychiatrists, RCI registered clinical psychologists and neurologists, ensuring accuracy, clinical accountability, and appropriate documentation.
Children & Adolescents Assessments (3-17 yrs)

Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) Assessment
(NIMHANS Battery of SLD-2)
A comprehensive learning assessment using the NIMHANS Battery for Specific Learning Disorders (SLD-2) to evaluate difficulties in reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics in school-aged children. This standardised assessment is widely used in India and is aligned with national clinical and educational guidelines. It supports diagnostic clarification, academic planning, and appropriate school-based accommodations, and is interpreted within a complete developmental and clinical context by trained professionals.

Personality Trait Assessment
(PID-5)
A structured psychological assessment using the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5) to evaluate maladaptive personality trait dimensions such as emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, detachment, antagonism, and unusual perceptual experiences. This clinician-interpreted assessment supports personality formulation and psychotherapy planning and is used with adolescents (11-18 year olds) as part of a comprehensive clinical evaluation.

Intellectual (IQ) Assessment
(MISIC)
A standardised intelligence assessment using Malin’s Intelligence Scale for Indian Children (MISIC) to evaluate a child’s cognitive abilities, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, and overall intellectual functioning. This assessment is commonly used as part of developmental evaluations, learning difficulty assessments, ADHD or autism assessments, and for academic planning, and is always interpreted within a comprehensive clinical and developmental context.
Adults Assessments (18+)

Adult ADHD Assessment
(DIVA)
A comprehensive, clinician-led evaluation for adult ADHD using the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults (DIVA). This structured assessment examines childhood and adult ADHD symptoms, functional impairment across work, relationships, and daily life, and symptom persistence over time, in line with DSM-5 criteria. Findings are used to support accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment planning.

Personality Assessment
(MCMI-III & PID-5 options)
A structured psychological assessment using the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory–III (MCMI-III) to evaluate enduring personality patterns and associated clinical features in adults. This assessment supports in-depth personality formulation and psychotherapy planning and is interpreted within a comprehensive clinical context by qualified mental health professionals.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Assessment
(Y-BOCS)
A clinician-led OCD assessment using the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) to evaluate the presence, type, and severity of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours. This structured assessment supports accurate severity grading, treatment planning, and monitoring of therapeutic progress, and is interpreted within a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation.

Projective Psychological Assessment
(Rorschach Inkblot Test & Others)
An in-depth psychological evaluation using projective assessment tools such as the Rorschach Inkblot Test, to explore underlying emotional processes, personality dynamics, coping styles, and internal conflicts. These assessments are conducted and interpreted by trained clinical psychologists and are used as part of a broader psychological formulation, rather than as standalone diagnostic tests.
Free Self-Help Screening Tools (External)
The following self-help screening tools are hosted on external, reputable platforms like Mental Health America. They are designed to support personal awareness and reflection only. These tools are not diagnostic, and Manaha Clinic does not collect or interpret results. If a screening raises concern, a professional clinical assessment is recommended.

Addiction Test
(SUSC, ASC, BASC, NODS-GD)
A self-screening tool that combines multiple validated questionnaires to explore concerns related to substance use (alcohol or drugs) and behavioral addictions, including gambling. The screening adapts based on the substance or behavior of concern and reflects DSM-5–aligned criteria.
